Rural Development Trust

PSD was engaged by the Rural Development Trust to conduct the baseline and endline evaluations of a two-year sport for development program implemented in Anantapur, India. The program aimed to address learning and social gaps among young people following the COVID-19 pandemic through sport-based approaches.

Laureus Sport for Good

PSD provided consultancy support to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation to explore investment opportunities in non-traditional sports for social impact by researching the global landscape of skateboarding and dance-based sport for development initiatives.

North-East Initiative Development Agency (NEIDA)

PSD was commissioned by NEIDA to conduct an endline evaluation of a multi-year badminton development project in Mizoram, implemented in partnership with the Mizoram Badminton Association, Mizoram State Sports Council and the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy.

UNESCO New Delhi

PSD conducted a research study for UNESCO New Delhi to map the sport for development (S4D) landscape in India and explore the scope for S4D programming aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals.

Oxfam India

PSD, in collaboration with Participatory Research in India (PRIA), worked on a research study commissioned by Oxfam India to develop a sustainable strategy for using sport to address gender-based violence and promote socio-economic transformation.

Sport for Good Cities Delhi

PSD partnered with Laureus Sport for Good on the Sport for Good Cities Delhi project by conducting research, supporting coalition development in Seemapuri, and evaluating the project’s implementation and outcomes.

Scoping Study: Sport for Development in South & South-East Asia

PSD initiated a scoping study to understand the reach, impact, gaps and challenges of sport for development initiatives across South and South-East Asia, in collaboration with PRIA and FICCI.

Odisha State Sports Policy

PSD’s Founder-Director was part of a PwC-led team that formulated a comprehensive sports policy for the state of Odisha, aimed at developing a sustainable sports culture for children and youth.

Anantapur Sports Academy

PSD conducted grassroots research studies with Anantapur Sports Academy to assess the physical, social and emotional impact of sports participation on rural children aged 10–15 years.

Andhra Cricket Association

PSD evaluated the managerial and operational systems of three youth residential cricket academies operated by the Andhra Cricket Association and conducted training workshops to support capacity building and system improvements.
